Stefano Usberghi is an accomplished director and cinematographer with over a decade of experience working across narrative, documentaries, commercials and music videos. Alumnus of the prestigious Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia – Italian National Film School, Stefano got his first nomination for Best Cinematography at Camerimage Festival in 2022 with the feature documentary ‘Sons Of Cain’, premiered at Venezia 78’ – Giornate degli Autori. Stefano’s works has been featured in international film festivals such as: Venice Film Festival, TIFF kids, Tampere, Holly Shorts, Tirana and David Di Donatello. Stefano has lensed dozens of campaigns around the globe for esteemed brands such as: Ray-Ban, Gucci, Burger King, Starbucks, Renault, Oysho, Yamaha, Zegna, Spotify, Wind, Golden Goose, Kia, Peroni Nastro Azzurro and Peugeot. Rather than following an ordinary path in the industry Stefano picked up a camera and starts making his personal projects on fascinated by the lives of “anonymous people” and their stories of marginality – Stefano has made his directorial debut with the short documentary “Isma” shortlisted at Ciclope and featured on Director’s Library, 1.4 and Directors Notes. Stefano is always on the move working across Europe and US.
