Stefano Usberghi is an award winning cinematographer and sometimes a director. Alumnus of the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, Stefano has received a “Golden Frog” nomination for best cinematography at Camerimage Festival in 2022 with the feature documentary ‘Sons Of Cain’, premiered at Venezia 78’ (Giornate Degli Autori). Stefano previous works were shortlisted in international film festivals such as: TIFF, Tampere Film Festival, David Di Donatello, Rhode Island and many others. Stefano has lensed dozens of commercials around the globe for brands like: Renault, Ray-Ban, Gucci, Spotify, Valentino, Burger King, Yamaha, Zegna, Laura Biagiotti, Shell, Engie, Nike, Peroni Nastro Azzurro, Golden Goose, Kia, Maestro Dobel and Peugeot. Stefano has worked with agencies such as: Publicis, DLV BBDO, Armando Testa, Leagas Delaney, Wunderman Thompson and many others. Stefano has made his directorial debut with the short film Isma, shortlisted at Ciclope and featured on Director’s Library. Stefano has directed two short films and he is currently writing his debut feature film as a director.
